Development Factors Affecting The Sustainability of Palm Growers in The Lower Central Region of Thailand

Abstract

The objectives of this study were 1) to study the development factors 2) to study sustainability 3)to study a relationship between general information of consumers and sustainability and 4) to study a relationship between development factors affecting the sustainability. Research Methodology: The sample consisted of 400 companies Population occupied by palm growers in the lower central region of Thailand. Questionnaire was employed as a data collection tool. Statistics used included frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, chi-square, and multiple regressions.

          Research findings were as follows:

          1) The overall factors level of development factors is at high level.

          2) The overall efficiency of sustainability is at high level.

          3) The personal information general data factors, age, occupation, average monthly income, status, number of employees/workers of palm growers Palm plantation area, yield per rai, expansion of palm plantation area and the distribution of palm fruit have relationship with Sustainability of Palm Farmers in the Lower Central Region of Thailand at 0.05 statistical significance level.

          4) The development factors affect to the relationship with Sustainability of Palm Farmers in the Lower Central Region of Thailand at 0.05 statistical significance level.
