Public Participation in the Preparation of Bang Kruai Municipality Development Plan, Nonthaburi Province

Abstract

The objectives of this research were; 1) to study the level of public participation in the Bang kruai Municipality development plan, Nonthaburi Province, and 2) compare the difference between the participation of the people in Bang kruai Municipality development plan, Nonthaburi Province, and the personal factors of the people. The questionnaire was used to collect data from the household housing of household representatives located in the supervision area of Bang kruai Municipality. The data analysis statistics include frequency, percentage, average, and standard deviation: one-way testing, T-values, and variances. The results showed that 1) The public's participation in implementing of the Bang kruai Municipality Development Plan, Nonthaburi Province is very high. 2) People of different genders contributed significantly to implementing of the Bang kruai Municipality Development Plan, Nonthaburi Province sections, age, and education level. However, average monthly income and occupation are no different.
