Abstract

This study aimed to 1) examine the levels of attitude toward the behavior, subjective norm, perceived behavioral control, and intention to use beauty clinic services among consumers in Chonburi Municipality, and 2) examine the relationships and predictive power of the behavior, subjective norm, and perceived behavioral control for service intention. This quantitative study employed a survey design. The sample comprised 120 consumers aged 18 years or older who resided in Chonburi Municipality and had previously used beauty clinic services, selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected using a questionnaire with reliability coefficients ranging from 0.801 to 0.872. Data were analyzed using frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, Pearson’s correlation coefficient, and multiple regression. The results showed that all four constructs were at a high level. The three predictors were positively associated with service intention at the .01 significance level, with correlation coefficients of .492, .547, and .384, respectively. Multiple regression analysis showed that subjective norm (β = .381, p < .001) and attitude toward the behavior (β = .288, p < .001) were significant predictors, whereas perceived behavioral control was not a significant predictor (β = .112, p = .177). The model explained 39.3% of the variance in service intention.
