Factors of Social and Environmental Responsibility Management Innovation Corporate Image and Corporate Reputation Influencing the Performance of Large Industrial Companies Engaging in Environmental Operations

Abstract

The purposes of this research are: To examine the levels of variables including corporate social responsibility, management innovation, corporate image, corporate reputation, and the performance of large industrial companies engaged in environmental activities.To investigate the influence of corporate social responsibility, management innovation, corporate image, and corporate reputation on the performance of large industrial companies engaged in environmental activities.To develop a performance model for large industrial companies with environmental operations by using structural equation modeling (SEM) as the analytical and hypothesis-testing tool.The population in this study consisted of 400 employees from large industrial companies in Thailand that are engaged in corporate social responsibility and environmental activities. Data was collected using a questionnaire as the research instrument.Research Findings:


The results indicated that the structural equation model was consistent with the empirical data (χ² = 180.419, df = 89, p-value = 0.220, χ²/df = 2.027, GFI = 0.948, AGFI = 0.921, NFI = 0.957, IFI = 0.978, CFI = 0.978, RMR = 0.042, SRMR = 0.0375, RMSEA = 0.051, PCLOSE = 0.439, and CN = 248). Hypothesis testing revealed that corporate social responsibility, management innovation, corporate image, and corporate reputation had a statistically significant influence on the performance of large industrial companies engaged in environmental activities at the 0.05, 0.01, and 0.001 significance levels. Together, these variables could predict 47% of performance outcomes.
