The Guideline for Inventory Management with Information System of Property Administration in the schools under Ubonratchathani’s Primary Educational Service Area 3

Abstract
This research aimed to (1) study the state of inventory management using information systems in schools under the Ubon Ratchathani Primary Educational Service Area Office 3; (2) compare the opinions of school administrators and teachers on inventory management using information systems, classified by position, work experience, and school size; and (3) explore guidelines for promoting inventory management through information systems in schools under the same jurisdiction. The sample consisted of 321 participants: 34 school administrators and 287 teachers, selected using stratified random sampling based on the Krejcie and Morgan sample size table. For the qualitative component, three school administrators were purposively selected as key informants. Research instruments included a 5-point Likert scale questionnaire (with a reliability coefficient of .97) and a structured interview form. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics (percentage, mean, and standard deviation) and inferential statistics (t-test and F-test), with LSD used for post hoc comparisons where significant differences were found.
The findings revealed that: (1) the overall level of inventory management using information systems was high; (2) there were no significant differences in opinions when classified by position or work experience, but significant differences were found based on school size at the .05 level; and (3) guidelines for promoting inventory management included: planning procurement needs using up-to-date information and modern technology; utilizing asset management software such as My PSD; managing the distribution of supplies with accurate inventory tracking systems; maintaining proper coding and accounting systems for inventory control; implementing maintenance strategies that follow fiscal year schedules and ensure responsible use; and managing disposal of outdated items through information systems in compliance with governmental regulations. These strategies enhance efficiency, transparency, and cost-effectiveness in school inventory management.
