Factors affecting the potential development entrepreneurs of trucking companies in Bangkok metropolitan region

Abstract
This study aimed to: (1) compare the level of entrepreneurial potential development among entrepreneurs in trucking logistics companies operating in Bangkok and its metropolitan area, classified by personal factors; and (2) investigate organizational management factors influencing the development of entrepreneurial potential among trucking logistics company entrepreneurs in Bangkok and its metropolitan area. A questionnaire was employed as the research instrument for data collection. The sample consisted of 260 entrepreneurs from trucking logistics companies located in Bangkok and its metropolitan area. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, t-test, analysis of variance (ANOVA), and multiple regression analysis.
The results indicated that: (1) entrepreneurs with different levels of educational attainment exhibited statistically significant differences in entrepreneurial potential development at the 0.05 level, whereas no statistically significant differences were observed with respect to gender, age, and income; and (2) organizational management factors, including organizational structure, organizational systems, management style, human resources, and shared values, exerted a statistically significant influence on the development of entrepreneurial potential among trucking logistics company entrepreneurs in Bangkok and its metropolitan area.
The study's conclusions provide empirical and practical implications for the development of policies and organizational development strategies aimed at enhancing organizational competitiveness and entrepreneurial potential in response to rapid environmental changes in the contemporary business environment for entrepreneurs and organizational leaders in the trucking logistics sector as well as companies in the same supply chain.
