Factors of Management affecting the efficiency of industrial waste management in Thailand

Abstract

This research aims to study the management factors affecting the efficiency of Thai industrial waste management. The sample group was representatives/managers of industrial plants. The samples used in the research The factories in the eastern region consisted of 370 factories in Trat, Chanthaburi, Rayong and Chachoengsao provinces, one person per factory, including a sample of 370 people. The questionnaire was used as a research tool. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics such as mean, standard deviation. One-way classification analysis of variance Finding the relationship by using multiple regression, the results showed that 1) the overall factory management was at a high level. When considering each aspect, it was found that the planning aspect at the highest level and organization 2) The overall and individual aspects of industrial waste management efficiency were at a high level 3) Thai industrial waste management efficiency differed according to the characteristics of the factories. Classified by registered capital, number of employees, period of business opening and experience in waste management The difference was statistically significant at the .05 level. It was found that there were no differences. 4) Factors in the factory's management that affected the efficiency of Thai industrial waste management. Overall, in terms of organization, coordination, and control, they were able to predict the efficiency of Thai industrial waste management. 87.7 percent (with a statistical significance of .05 indicating that Efficiency of Thai industrial waste management There must be organizational, coordination, and control management elements that drive efficiency to achieve the expected results.
