Guidelines for the development of small schools in the digital age under the Office of Primary Education Area, Ratchaburi District 2

Abstract

The objectives of this research were to 1) study the components of the development of small schools in the digital era under the Office of Primary Educational Service Area, Ratchaburi District 2 and 2) study the guidelines for the development of small schools in the digital era.This research was merging research both qualitative and quantitative methods. For qualitative research studied the document through in-depth interviews with 21 expert persons. The statistic used for analyzing the data was content analysis. The data were analyzed by such as mean, standard deviation, factor analysis and content analysis. The results showed that:1) The components of the development of small schools in the digital era under the Office of Primary Educational Service Area, Ratchaburi District 2 including with the distribution of power, the participation, the role of the community in the development of education, checks and balances, and self-management. And 2) guidelines for the development of small schools in the digital era. It should be decentralized the power of the powers of government agencies to the localities to make decisions together with those directly affected to local people. These allowed them to participate in decision-making to increase the role of local people including with auditing and managing with government and local agencies for the development of the whole system.
