The Search of Recreational Vehicles (RVs) under the Thai Criminal Procedure Code

Abstract
The authorization to search private properties as well as persons in public places under the Thai Criminal Procedure Code cannot be readily applied to the search of recreational vehicles. This issue might lead to the problems of breaching the vehicle owner’s right to privacy and property rights. Thus, a comparative study on foreign laws, including the U.S. law as well as UK law, governing searches of recreational vehicles may be useful for the amendments to the sections of the Code and also for the protection of such citizens’ rights in the future.
