บทคัดย่อ
การศึกษานี้เพื่ออนุรักษ์และฟื้นฟูประเพณีท้องถิ่นที่สำคัญของย่านเมืองเก่าเชียงราย สู่การส่งเสริมให้ย่านเมืองเก่าเชียงรายเป็นย่านสร้างสรรค์ โดยใช้ระเบียบวิธีวิจัยเชิงคุณภาพ การสำรวจทางกายภาพ การสัมภาษณ์เชิงลึก ได้แก่ กลุ่มผู้นำทางศาสนาพุทธ ศริสต์ อิสลาม พราหมณ์ ฮินดู ผู้นำทางจิตวิญญาณ ข้าราชการที่เกี่ยวข้องกับงานวัฒนธรรม นักวิชาการท้องถิ่น กลุ่มเครือข่ายศิลปิน ผู้ประกอบการทางวัฒนธรรม นำข้อมูลมาวิเคราะห์ร่วมกับข้อมูลจากเอกสาร ประมวลผล เพื่อรวบรวมข้อมูลพื้นฐานที่เกี่ยวกับความสำคัญของประเพณีท้องถิ่นในย่านเมืองเก่าเชียงราย ผลการวิจัยพบ 1) ประเพณีในเมืองเก่าเชียงราย 49 ประเพณี 2) ผลการประเมินคุณค่าความสำคัญของประเพณี คือ ประเพณีเดือนแปดเข้าเดือนเก้าออกใส่ขันดอกสะดือเมืองเชียงราย 3) แนวทางในการอนุรักษ์และฟื้นฟูประเพณีมีแนวทาง ดังนี้ 1.องค์ความรู้ทางประวัติศาสตร์ส่งเสริมความสำคัญพื้นที่ 2.องค์ความรู้พิธีกรรมกับบริบทสมัยใหม่ 3. การฟื้นฟูงานประเพณีกับการส่งเสริมการท่องเที่ยว 4.การฟื้นฟูประเพณีรูปแบบคณะทำงานระดับเมือง 5. การอนุรักษ์ดอกไม้พื้นเมืองเชิงสร้างสรรค์ในงานประเพณี
