Abstract

This research aims to study large-plot agriculture policy management. The methodology was qualitative research and data collection was both general and in-depth interviews, data validation and qualitative data analysis. The result of the research shows that this policy can create opportunities for competition and career security but the outcome of the policy implementation was a problem; for example, 1) management cooperation of production processes were not clear followed the policy to use as a tool and mechanism for
reducing production costs, development and increasing the number of mangosteens; 2) although the goods was able to be collected to a certain extent, the marketing was not able to be built trust and motivation for traders in order to trade and rely on other markets to distribute them; 3) the problems found in joint management in other areas are the scattered agricultural area designation which causes the difficulty in joint management; the intermittent policies and operations of the government sector; restriction in information management; problems in setting rules within groups; and the inability to integrate with the local government organization.
