การทำงานวิจัยที่เป็นเลิศของนักวิจัยดีเด่นแห่งชาติ: คุณลักษณะ ความหมาย และปัจจัยความสำเร็จ

บทคัดย่อ

นักวิจัยดีเด่นแห่งชาติมีคุณูปาการต่อการพัฒนาประเทศ การมีองค์ความรู้เกี่ยวกับการทำงานวิจัยที่เป็นเลิศสามารถชี้แนวทางเสริมสร้างนักวิจัยรุ่นใหม่ บทความนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาคุณลักษณะของนักวิจัยดีเด่นแห่งชาติ ความหมายของการทำงานวิจัยที่เป็นเลิศ และปัจจัยความสำเร็จของการทำงานวิจัยที่เป็นเลิศ ใช้วิธีการสัมภาษณ์เชิงลึกกับนักวิจัยดีเด่นแห่งชาติสาขาสังคมศาสตร์ที่ได้รับรางวัลระหว่างปี พ.ศ.2539 - 2560 จำนวน 7 คน พบผลดังนี้ ประการแรก การเป็นนักวิจัยดีเด่นแห่งชาติสะท้อนจาก 2 คุณลักษณะ คือ คุณลักษณะของบุคคลเป็นความสามารถใน 3 ด้าน ได้แก่ ด้านปัญญา ด้านจิตใจ และด้านทักษะ ส่วนคุณลักษณะของผลงานเป็นความโดดเด่น 3 ลักษณะ คือ ผลลัพธ์เป็นรูปธรรม นำเสนอสิ่งใหม่ และงานต่อเนื่อง มีเครื่องประกันผลงานเป็นรางวัล ประการที่สอง การทำงานวิจัยที่เป็นเลิศ คือ ทำให้แตกต่าง ทำแล้วเกิดประโยชน์ และทำอย่างต่อเนื่อง และประการสุดท้าย ปัจจัยความสำเร็จของการทำงานวิจัยที่เป็นเลิศ แบ่งเป็น 3 ปัจจัย ได้แก่ ปัจจัยนำ ประกอบด้วย 5 มูลเหตุ คือ ใช้ความรู้เป็นฐานใช้ความรักและความสุขขับเคลื่อนงาน รักในการเรียนรู้ มีเจตคติที่ดีต่องาน มีบุคลิกภาพแบบเปิดกว้าง และยึดมั่นในความเชื่อเชิงวิชาการ ปัจจัยเอื้อ ประกอบด้วย 2 มูลเหตุ คือ ใช้ความคิด และมีความเพียร ส่วนปัจจัยเสริม ประกอบด้วย 4 มูลเหตุ คือ แรงส่งจากทีม การสนับสนุนจากคนรอบข้าง การมีตัวแบบให้เรียนรู้ และการเรียนรู้เชิงประสบการณ์ ข้อค้นพบสามารถเป็นข้อเสนอแนะสำหรับนักวิจัย มหาวิทยาลัย และแหล่งทุน เพื่อการทำวิจัยสู่ความเป็นเลิศ
