Meanings, Concepts and Current Status of Agricultural Extension Worldwide.

บทคัดย่อ

The objective of this paper is to enhance knowledge and understanding of interested person in the meanings, concepts, and current status of agricultural extension worldwide. Due to different approaches and objectives of agricultural extension, it is difficult to express precisely the meanings of agricultural extension. However, this paper provides examples of the meaning given by various authors and presents the following concepts : the concept of agricultural extension as part of the agricultural technology system, the concept of agricultural extension as part of the agricultural development information system, and concept of agricultural extension as part of the agricultural knowledge system. The current status of agricultural extension worldwide is also discussed.
