Abstract
The objectives of this research are to1)develop and evaluate the effectiveness of electronic storybook on reading comprehension skills for Prathomsuksa 6 students, 2) to implementelectronic storybook on reading comprehension skills for Prathomsuksa 6 students 3)to evaluate of electronic storybook on reading comprehension skills for Prathomsuksa 6 students4) to durability measurement of Prathomsuksa6 students after using theelectronic storybook on reading comprehension skills for Prathomsuksa 6 students.The integrated research methodologies were quantitative research and quality research.The target group included 36 students in Prathomsuksa 6 students at Ban Thalaysonghong School:they were selected by purposive Sampling.The instruments of this research were a record form, students’ structured interview, evaluation of the quality of lessons, a learning achievement test, an evaluation form of students’ reading comprehension skillsand an evaluation form of students’ satisfaction .The collected data were analyzed by content analysis, percentage,mean, standard deviation, and t-test dependent.
The research results indicated that
1.The Electronic Storybook on Reading Comprehension Skills In English for Prathomsuksa 6 Studentscomprised of 5 concepts which were1) Text, 2) Still image 3)Animation 4)Sound and 5) Interactive links. And the expert had examined the quality of the electronic storybook on reading comprehension skills for Prathomsuksa 6 students showed that the overall result was at a high level.
The Electronic Storybook on Reading Comprehension Skills In English for Prathomsuksa 6 Studentshadthe efficiency at the 78.73 / 79.67 which was higher than the threshold (75/75).
- After using The Electrniic Storybook on Reading Comprehension Skills In English for Prathomsuksa 6 Students showed that the students’ reading comprehension posttest score was higher than pretest score which was significant different at the level of .005 .
- After using The Electronic Storybook on Reading Comprehension Skills In English for Prathomsuksa 6 Students showed that the students’a learning achievement posttest score was higher than pretest scorewhich was significant different at the level of .005 . The students’ satisfaction towards the Electronic Storybook on Reading Comprehension Skills In English for Prathomsuksa 6 Students was at a high level.
- The students who had learnt through the Electronic Storybook on Reading Comprehension Skills In English for Prathomsuksa 6 Students could retain their knowledge after they had learnt for two weeks. Their scores did not differ from the posttest scores that were significant different at the level of.005 .
