The Development of Health Education Activities with Team Based Learning for Health Promotion of Ninth Grade Students

Abstract

     The purposes of this research were ; 1) to develop and find the efficiency of the health education activities with team based learning for health promotion of ninth grade students according to criterion 80/80; 2) to evaluate the efficiency of the health education activities with team based learning for health promotion of ninth grade students in the following points : 2.1) to compare the learning outcome entitled before and after doing the health education activities, 2.2) to study health promotion behavior after doing the health education activities with team based learning, 2.3) to study the satisfaction of the students toward the health education activities with team based learning. The research sample was 33 Matthayomsuksa 3/3 of Bankhawittaya School students by Cluster Sampling, who are studying in the second semester 2019 academic year. The instruments used for this experiment include 1) lesson plans 2) a Learning outcome test 3) health promotion behavior evaluation form and 4) a students’ satisfaction questionnaire. The data were analyzed by percentage (%), mean (¯x), standard deviation (S.D.), t-test dependent and content analysis.
     The results were as follows: 1. The health education activities according to standard criterion 83.80/82.10. 2. The effectiveness of evaluation in the health education activities in these following points. 2.1) the learning outcome entitled “Health Promotion” of ninth grade students after doing the health education activities were higher than before doing the health education activities were statistically significant at the .05 level, 2.2) The health promotion behavior of ninth grade students overall were at good level, 2.3) The satisfaction of ninth grade students’ toward health education activities overall were at a high.
