Academic Leadership of School Administrators Affecting Quality of Work Life of Teachers under the Secondary Educational Service Area Office 11 in Surat Thani

Abstract
The purposes of this research were 1) to study academic leadership of school administrators 2) to study quality of work life of teachers 3) to study academic leadership of administrators affecting teachers' quality of work life under the Office of Secondary Educational Service Area 11 in Surat Thani Province. The populations were 1,960 of school administrators and teachers. The 390 sample were consisted of 70 administrators and 320 teachers who were randomly selected by using the drawing method. Data was collected by using a questionnaire with 0.98 of reliability. The data was analyzed by using basic statistics such as mean and standard deviation. Test statistics by multiple regression analysis.
The results of the research were as follows: 1) academic leadership of school administrators overall and individual at a high level were arranged in order of average from the highest to the lowest which is encouragement of teaching and learning management, academic atmosphere, education supervision and setting goals and mission.2) quality of work life of teachers overall and each aspect were at a high level that arranged in order of average from the highest to the lowest which were the balance between life and work, participation and social acceptance, working environment, the advancement and job stability and compensation and welfare benefits. 3) the analysis of administrator's leadership affecting the teachers’ quality of work life revealed that academic leadership , academic atmosphere, setting goals and missions and education supervision affecting the quality of work life of teachers under the Office of Secondary Educational Service Area 11 in Surat Thani Province respectively and able to jointly predict the quality of work life of teachers under the Office of Secondary Educational Service Area 11 in Surat Thani Province at 70 percent with statistical significance at .05 level.
