Motivation at work of the teachers in the office of secondary educational service area 12

Abstract

This research aimed to 1.to examine the level of work motivation among high school teachers working under the Secondary Educational Service Area 12  2.to compare their level of work motivation under the Secondary Educational Service Area 12 as school size. The subjects participating in this study were 357 high school’s teachers working under the Secondary Educational Service Area 12 The instrument was questionnaires and the sample used by Multi-Stage Random Sampling by Krejcie & Morgan. (1970) The data was analyzed by using package software to find mean, percentage, standard deviation, t-test, and F-test. 


The result found that: 1.The teachers’ motivation was at high level. When consider each aspect, the highest level was the stability, relationship with colleagues, respect, followed by work success and progress in work.  2.The comparison motivate was at high level. When consider each aspect, the highest level was the amount of monthly income, educational degree, gender and academic standing.
