The Role of Administrator on Academic Affairs Management under Surat Thani Primary Educational Service Area Office 3

Abstract
The objectives of this study were to study and compare the overall administrators’ roles in academics of the schools under the Suratthani Primary Educational Service Area Office 3, classified by position, educational level and work experience. The sample group consisted of 453 administrators and teachers of the schools under the Suratthani Primary Educational Service Area Office 3. The research instrument was the 5-rating scale. The gathered data was analyzed by percentage, mean, standard deviation, t-test and one way ANOVA. The results showed that 1) The overall administrators’ roles in academic administration of the schools under the Suratthani Primary Educational Service Area Office 3 was at the high level. It was classified by aspect which was found that the development of the learning process is the highest. The next is curriculum development, educational institutions. The research to improve educational quality was the lowest average, and 2) Roles of the school administrators in the academic administration under the Suratthani Primary Educational Service Area Office 3 classified by position is not different, however it was classified by education level and work experience is significant difference at the level of .05.
