Abstract

ABSTRACT


          This survey research aimed to study and compare academic administration of school administrators in sahawittayaket Nakhon Si Thammarat 2 cluster under secondary educational service area office 12. The study sample consisted of 248 teachers who worked in schools, in sahawittayaket Nakhon Si Thammarat 2 cluster under secondary educational service area office 12 in academic year 2020, were categorized according to level of education, school size and position classification. The instrument was a 40-item, 5-scale rating questionnaire querying about opinion about administration of school administrators. The questionnaire’s reliability was 0.981. Frequency, percentage, arithmetic mean, standard deviation, t-test, and One-way ANOVA, and Scheffe’s method were used to analyze the data..


          Findings:


  1. The teachers’ opinion about academic administration of school administrators in sahawittayaket Nakhon Si Thammarat 2 cluster under secondary educational service area office 12 was at high level both in each dimension and the overall opinion.

  2. Concerning a comparison of opinion about academic administration of school administrators in sahawittayaket Nakhon Si Thammarat 2 cluster under secondary educational service area office 12, the revealed that:

           2.1 There was no difference of opinion about academic administration of school administrators among teachers with different educational level, both in each dimension and the overall opinion.


           2.2 Generally, no difference of the overall opinion was found among teachers from different school size. Regarding the opinion in each dimension, all were similar except the educational supervision was found to be statistically different at a significant level of 0.05.


           2.3 Opinion about academic administration of school administrators among teachers from different position classification was found to be different at the significant level of 0.05, both in each dimension and the overall opinion, the opinion level of professional level teacher was higher than practitioner level; no difference was found among teachers from other level. Except the opinion about the development of learning process was no difference.
