Abstract

The research The development of guidelines for promoting income elderly in the border area of Phayao Province by participation community. The objective of this research were to; 1) to study the condition and problems of income generation of the elderly in the border area of ​​Phayao Province. 2) to develop guidelines for self-promotion of the elderly in the border area of ​​Phayao Province 3) to evaluate guidelines Self-income promotion for the elderly in the border area of ​​Phayao Province. The quantitative research methods applied to sample of 361 people living in the border area of Phayao Province. From a total of 3,741 people and 15 expert groups with knowledge and experience in income promotion in order to assess ways to improve their income promotion for the elderly in the border area of Phayao Province. and use a qualitative research method to study with those involved in the income generation of the elderly, both in the public and private sectors. Elderly representatives And 7 community leaders from the specific selection Data were collected by in-depth interview. The Finding of this research were 1) Most of the people have opinions about the condition and problems of the income generation of the elderly in the border area in Phayao Province, the overall picture is at a medium level. And data analysis to compare the problems of income generation among the elderly in the border area of Phayao Province in all 3 aspects : the channel of income  Compensation from income and Skills for making money having sex, income, occupation the overall significantly different at the statistical level of .05. 2) The guidelines for self-income promotion for the elderly in the border area of ​​Phayao Province are as follows 1. Community leaders with volunteer spirit 2. Network participation with the community 3. Creating self-value of the elderly 4. The availability of local resources 5. Getting support from the government and private sectors 6. Conducting according to the philosophy of the sufficiency economy 7. Invention of new products 8. Distribution and marketing promotion 9. Local knowledge and experiences of the elderly 10. Received training from government and private agencies. 3) The evaluation of self-promotion guidelines for the elderly in the border area of Phayao Province was at the highest level. The sample agreed with the way of self-promotion of the elderly in the border area of Phayao Province in terms of suitability Useful side And possibilities
