Abstract

     The objectives of this research were 1) to study transformational leaderships of school administrators, 2) to study the encouragement of professional learning communities in primary schools, 3) to study the relationship between transformational leaderships of school administrators and professional learning communities in primary schools and, 4) to study transformational leaderships of school administrators influencing professional learning communities in primary schools. The sample was a group of 313 teachers in Nakhon Si Thammarat Primary Educational Service Area Office 3, academic year 2019. The research’s instrument was a five-levels rating scale questionnaire with a reliability at 0.97. The statistics were percentage, mean, standard deviation, Pearson Product - Moment Correlation Coefficient, and Multiple Regression Analysis.


     The results showed that 1) the transformational leadership of primary school administrators was at a high level. The change management had the highest mean. 2) driving vocational learning communities in schools were at a high level. Encouraging personnel to have continuous self-development had the highest average. 3) the transformational leadership of school administrators significantly correlated with professional learning community drive in schools at a very high level (r = 0.91*). Statistically at .05. 4) executive transformational leadership has an effect on driving professional learning communities in primary schools with a statistical significance of .05.
