Empowerment of monks in community development in Nakhon si thammarat province

Abstract
The objectives of this thesis are as follows: 1) to study the concept of promoting monks' potential in community development under the Sangha Act; 2) to study dharma principles related to the empowerment of monks in community development; 3) to integrate dharma principles that related to increasing the potential of monks in community development, and 4) to present the body of knowledge about “Empowering Monks' Potential for Community Development in Nakhon Si Thammarat Province”. This research was qualitative research by collecting data from documents, in-depth interviews, and organizing a group discussion forum of 16 experts and monks. The research tools were interview forms and data analysis by descriptive method.
The findings were as follows 1) The concept of promoting the potential of monks in community development according to the Sangha Act. It was found that the concepts and theories about potential promotion consisted of knowledge, skills, proper self-esteem, and attitudes. It was the development of one's abilities. and applying their knowledge and abilities to develop the community 2) Dharma principles related to the empowerment of monks in community development. middle path. This is consistent with the empowerment of monks in community development. 3) Integration of dharma principles related to the enhancement of monks' potential in community development. Increasing the potential of monks in community development found that the potential of monks means knowledge, skills, self-adjustment, and the attitude necessary to the work of the monks that will result in success above general standards It consists of four main components, which are 1. Knowledge integrated into the principle of altruism, 2. Skills integrated into the principle of power, 3. Appropriate positioning integrated into Sappurisadhamma, and 4. Attitudes Integrate into the Machima Patipada. In addition to the integration of Buddhist Dharma principles, there must be other processes to support as well, such as self-development guidelines for enhancing potential, and 4) The body of knowledge about “Empowering Monks’ Potential for Community Development in Nakhon Si Thammarat Province” is called the CAPABLE Model Curiosity, Amend, Participation, Attitude, Best practice, Leadership, and Exchange
