Abstract

     This research aimed to study and compare the guidelines for developing the skills of educational institution administrators in the 21st century according to the size of the educational institution. Questionnaires and in-depth interviews were used as research tools. Data analysis methods were used to find percentages, mean (gif.latex?\bar{x} ), standard deviation (S.D), one-way analysis of variance, and test for pairwise differences using Scheffe's method and analyze data from interviews. The data is then analyzed, synthesized, and summarized.
     The research results found that 1) The overall skills of educational institution administrators in the 21st century are at a high level. 2) A comparison of the skills of educational institution administrators in the 21st century, classified according to the size of the educational institution, found that there were differences of opinion at a statistical significance at the 0.05 level. When considering each aspect, it was found that the skills in the 21st century include: There were significant differences in opinions regarding creative thinking skills, visioning skills, academic leadership skills, innovation skills for learning, technology and digital skills, teamwork skills, and results-oriented skills. Statistically significant at the 0.05 level and 3) Guidelines for developing the skills of educational institution administrators in the 21st century are as follows: 1) Administrators must change their ideas, develop themselves from experience in managing educational institutions, must plan their development. 2) Provide opportunities for members to participate in work. 3) Administrators must  know using technology, that is, bringing modern technology and applications to use in educational institutions, and 4) Administrators must plan educational management, and set goals that promote academic work and teaching and learning management.
