Database of Ban Wang Nark’s Bantam chicken on Local Wisdom-Based in Nakhon Si Thammarat Province

Abstract

     This research is a mixed methods research. The aims of this research were 1) to study and data collection Ban Wang Nark’s bantam chicken on local wisdom-based in Nakhon Si Thammarat province 2) to develop of bantam chicken database of Ban Wang Nark’s bantam chicken on local wisdom-based in Nakhon Si Thammarat province and 3) to evaluate the satisfaction on the database of Ban Wang Nark’s bantam chicken on local wisdom-based in Nakhon Si Thammarat province. This research sample was selected in a specific way. There are 10 people who raise beautiful bantam chickens at Ban Wang Nak and 400 users of the bantam database system. The research tools were a semi-structured interview form, database system of Ban Wang Nark’s bantam chicken on local wisdom-based, and a satisfaction assessment form regarding the use of the bantam database system.  Data were collected in the semi-structured Interview and satisfaction evaluation. Statistics used to analyze data were averages and standard deviations. 
     The research results showed that the data of Ban Wang Nark’s bantam chicken together with the standard of bantam characteristics, color, culture, food, bantam house, disease outbreak, and location of bantam chicken farm in southern Thailand. Development of a database with PHP, developing user interface by CSS framework and MySQL for database management system. System test to satisfaction evaluation of the database of Ban Wang Nark’s bantam chicken on local wisdom-based. The results showed that the satisfaction of the target group was at a high level.
