Abstract
This research is a Research and development with the purpose of 1) to study the problems and needs for academic administration development, is quantitative research. and qualitative, 2) to study the academic administration guidelines of schools with excellent performance, and 3) to develop, examine and evaluate the academic administration guidelines of Ratchachanukroh School 31, Mae Chaem District, Chiang Mai Province. Phase 1: Informed persons include school directors; Deputy School Director and Teachers A total of 83 students from Ratchaprachanukroh School 31 collected data using a questionnaire with an estimate of 5 levels, with the consistency of the alpha coefficient of 0.94. Phase 2: Informed persons include school directors; Deputy Director of Schools and Academic Teachers of Schools with Excellent Performance. Collect data using structured interviews. Analyze data using content analytics. Phase 3: 5 experts analyzed the data using frequency and percentage values, and 83 stakeholders who analyzed the data using the average standard deviation.
The results showed that 1) The overall problem of academic management is at a high level, When looking at each aspect in descending order, it is found that the development of the curriculum of the educational institution is at the highest level. 2) A study on the academic management of schools with excellent performance according to the scope of 4 areas of management, it was found that the school has academic management using the PDCA quality management cycle. 3) Guidelines for Academic Management of Ratchachanukroh School 31, Mae Chaem District, Chiang Mai Province are accurate and complete in content. The evaluation of the feasibility and usefulness in the overall area is at the highest level, which consists of 1) principles, 2) objectives, 3) an operational system that uses the participation process according to the quality cycle, and 4) success conditions.
