บทคัดย่อ
การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาถึงวาทกรรมการอ่านไม่ออกเขียนไม่ได้ในสังคมไทย ด้วยการใช้วิธีการวิจัยเชิงคุณภาพ โดยการวิเคราะห์เนื้อหาและหลักการวิเคราะห์วาทกรรม ตามแนวคิดของฟูโกต์ (Foucault) และเก็บข้อมูลในรูปแบบของตัวบท (text) จากเอกสารที่ได้คัดเลือกจำนวน 80 รายการ ทั้งที่เป็นสิ่งพิมพ์และเอกสารอินเทอร์เน็ต ผลการวิจัยพบว่า การอ่านออกเขียนได้ เป็นชุดความรู้ชุดหนึ่งที่เป็นวาทกรรมอันเกิดจากการสร้างและการครอบงำโดยยูเนสโก เพื่อให้ทั่วโลกได้ตระหนักและดำเนินกิจกรรมเพื่อขจัดปัญหาการอ่านไม่ออกเขียนไม่ได้ให้หมดไป รวมถึงประเทศไทยที่ได้ยอมรับวาทกรรมการอ่านออกเขียนได้มาใช้เป็นแนวทางในการพัฒนาการศึกษาของประเทศ และได้เกิดวาทกรรมอ่านไม่ออกเขียนไม่ได้ในสังคมไทยหลายประเด็น ข้อค้นพบที่เด่น ๆ คือวาทกรรมปัญหาซ้ำซาก วาทกรรมบ่งบอกถึงการไม่มีคุณภาพการศึกษา วาทกรรมที่แสดงความรู้สึกต่อสภาพปัญหา และวาทกรรมที่แสดงให้เห็นว่าครูคือจำเลยของสังคม
