บทคัดย่อ
งานวิจัยนี้เป็นการศึกษาการพัฒนาคุณภาพชีวิตของผู้สูงอายุในตำบลท่าทองใหม่ อำเภอกาญจนดิษฐ์ จังหวัดสุราษฎร์ธานี มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาระดับคุณภาพชีวิตของผู้สูงอายุและแนวทางในการพัฒนาคุณภาพชีวิตผู้สูงอายุ โดยใช้เทคนิควิธีแบบผสมผสานเชิงปริมาณและเชิงคุณภาพ ประชากรและกลุ่มตัวอย่างที่ใช้ในการวิจัย คือ ผู้สูงอายุในตำบลท่าทองใหม่ อำเภอกาญจนดิษฐ์ จังหวัดสุราษฎร์ธานี ในการวิจัยใช้ แบบสอบถามวัดระดับคุณภาพชีวิต และใช้การสนทนากลุ่ม เพื่อวิเคราะห์หาแนวทางในการพัฒนาคุณภาพชีวิตของผู้สูงอายุ ผลการวิจัยพบว่า ระดับคุณภาพชีวิตของผู้สูงอายุในภาพรวมอยู่ในระดับปานกลาง เมื่อพิจารณาเป็นรายด้านพบว่า ระดับคุณภาพชีวิตของผู้สูงอายุด้านจิตใจอยู่ในระดับดี ส่วนด้านสภาพแวดล้อม ด้านสัมพันธภาพทางสังคม และด้านร่างกายอยู่ในระดับปานกลาง แนวทางการพัฒนาคุณภาพชีวิตของผู้สูงอายุ พบว่า ควรเน้นให้ผู้สูงอายุตระหนักเห็นคุณค่าในตนเอง เน้นให้หน่วยงานหรือผู้เกี่ยวข้องได้ส่งเสริมและสนับสนุนเกี่ยวกับการดูแลสุขภาพ การมีอาชีพ และการมีส่วนร่วมในสังคมเพื่อยกระดับคุณภาพชีวิตของผู้สูงอายุอย่างยั่งยืน
