The production of multimedia to develop communication with Augmented Reality : A Case Study of Korat Museum

Abstract

The objectives of this research are to provide information on the history and interestedness of the Korat Museum area through virtual reality technology was used in the Ozarks program which works on smartphone devices with Internet connection. It is a qualitative research. The data were collected by the interviews. The important Information was given by the informants. It was found that Information about the Museum of Nakhon Ratchasima city has a history that the story of the present was presented. There are 7 different rooms, including the origin room of civilization, Dvaravati room, Lop Buri room, Ayutthaya room, Rattanakosin period room. Each room will be presented according to the era. There is a fascination for different contents which based on what is discovered and historical narratives. And the quantitative research. The data were
collected by 400 questionnaires. It was found that the satisfaction rating was at a high level (4.63 from the 5th point). The highest score was obtained by the tourists who liked the novelty and interested in applying the multimedia. The score was 4.59.
