Body Image, Self-Efficacy and Physical Activities of High School Students at Nawamintharachinuthid Horwang Nonthaburi School in Nonthaburi Province

Abstract
The objectives of this research were: 1) to study the level of body image, self-efficacy and physical activities of the students 2) to compare physical activities of the students by different personal factors 3) to study the relationship between body image and physical activities of the students 4) to study the relationship between self-efficacy and physical activities of the students. The samples were 310 high school students at Nawamintharachinuthid Horwang Nonthaburi school. The data were collected by questionnaires. The results were as follows: 1) body image, self-efficacy and physical activities of the students were at moderate level. 2) the students with difference in grade had different physical activities with the statistical significance at 0.05 while the students with difference in gender, age, major, GPA, allowance, body mass index, congenital disease, father’s occupation, mother’s occupation, income of the family and the residency type of the student had not different physical activities. 3) body image of the students was negatively related to physical activities at 0.05 level of statistical significance and 4) their self-efficacy was positively related to their physical activities at 0.01 level of significance.
