Media Literacy Skills, Code of conduct and Mental Health of First-Year Students of Undergraduate programs at Kasetsart University

Abstract
The study of media literacy skills, code of conduct and mental health of first-years students of undergraduate programs at Kasetsart University had the objectives; 1) to study the level of media literacy skills, code of conduct and mental health of students, 2) to study relationships between media literacy skills and mental health, 3) to study relationships between code of conduct and mental health. The samples of this study were 504 students of first – year students of undergraduate programs at Kasetsart University, Bang Khen Campus, which were selected by simple random sampling. The statistic methods were used percentage, mean, standard deviation, and Pearson’s product moment correlation.
The result of this study indicated that 1) media literacy skills and code of conduct of students were at the high levels; while, mental health was at a medium level, same as general person, 2) media literacy skills was positively correlated with mental health with the statistical significant level at .001, 3) code of conduct was positively correlated with mental health with the statistical significant level at .001.
