Media Literacy Skills, Media Literacy and Emotional Quotient of Students at Kasetsart University

Abstract
The objectives of this study were; 1) to study the level of media literacy skills, media literacy and emotional quotient of students at Kasetsart university, 2) to study relationships between media literacy skills and emotional quotient of students at Kasetsart university, and 3) to study relationships between media literacy and emotional quotient of students at Kasetsart university. The samples of this study were 1,467 students at Kasetsart university. The samples were collected by questionnaires. The statistic methods used for analysis were percentage, mean, standard deviation, and Pearson’s Product Moment Correlation Coefficient. The results of this study indicated that 1) media literacy skills, media literacy and emotional quotient of students at Kasetsart university were at the rather high level, 2) media literacy skills was positively correlated with emotional quotient of students at Kasetsart university with statistical significant at .001 level, and 3) media literacy was positively correlated with emotional quotient of students at Kasetsart university with statistical significant at .001 level.
