CANNABIS PROMOTION POLICY IN THAI SOCIETY

Abstract

The objectives of this research were 1) to study the policy for promotion of cannabis cultivation and control of cannabis use; 2) to study the utilization patterns of cannabis that affect the modern cannabis promotion policy; and 3) to study the guidelines for implementing the cannabis promotion policy. Cannabis to practice This research is a descriptive study. Specific qualitative research methods were used. With in-depth interview methods using smartphone conversations, document research and information systems By defining 3 groups of key informants, namely, Group 1 of 5 people, namely executives or representatives of the Ministry of Public Health responsible for cannabis policy, namely executives or representatives of the Food and Drug Administration, group 2 of 5 people, namely executives or Representative of the Department of Alternative Medicine Executives or representatives of the Narcotics Control Division and Group 3 Pharmaceutical Organization Private Hospital Association Department of Traditional Medicine of Thailand, 3 groups, 5 people each, including 25 key informants in this time. The results showed that 1) policies to promote the cultivation and use of cannabis. Must be clear, decisive and comprehensive, integrated to operate in all relevant departments. 2) Cannabis utilization patterns affecting cannabis up-to-date policies, cannabis products and properties have many medical benefits. To promote the quality of life of patients in the treatment of diseases and in the future will develop modern and easy-to-use cannabis products; and 3) policy guidelines to unlock cannabis and lead to investment in commercial cannabis cultivation. And pushing cannabis into a cash crop that can benefit all stakeholders in the supply chain. Policy-based fraud prevention methods and guidelines should be established to control and sustainable protection.
