Achievement, Attitude, and Satisfaction of Nursing Students Thought by Student Centered Learning Model

Abstract
Student Centered Learning has been applied for teaching “Maternal–Child Nursing and Midwifery l” for sometimes and there has not been evaluated. This investigation therefore, serves to elucidate the achievement, attitude, and satisfaction on the 3rd year nursing students on this learning innovation as well as to analyze the relationship between these particular aspects with such learning process. It was done by giving the designed and approved questionnaires to the target students. The results showed that, student that getting grade B was 42.60%. The students’ attitude towards the approach of student centered learning model was 81.00%. High satisfactory of the learning management approach was 87.50%, but the satisfaction on preparing prior to studying was 70.40%. The correlation analysis of attitude and satisfaction of nursing students in student centered learning was statistical significantly related (p value < 0.001). This indicates that using student-centered learning in “Maternal–Child Nursing and Midwifery l” is suitable for studying nursing in the present. The particular research results should be a model for learning in the nursing education. Also, it can be applied and developed for learning other subjects in the future.
