ทักษะที่จำเป็นสำหรับเยาวชนเพื่อเข้าสู่ตลาดแรงงานในยุคศตวรรษที่ 21: กรณีศึกษา ภาคใต้ประเทศไทย

บทคัดย่อ
การศึกษาครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อ สำรวจทักษะที่จำเป็นของเยาวชนสำหรับการทำงานในยุคศตวรรษที่ 21 ในพื้นที่ภาคใต้ และเปรียบเทียบทักษะที่จำเป็นของเยาวชนเพื่อเข้าสู่ตลาดแรงงานในยุคศตวรรษที่ 21 กับความต้องการของสถานประกอบการ ใช้วิธีการศึกษาแบบผสมผสาน ศึกษาเชิงคุณภาพการโดยสัมภาษณ์เชิงลึกจากผู้ให้ข้อมูลสำคัญ 60 คน ได้แก่ผู้บริหารสถานประกอบการ 10 คน ครู 18 คน และนักเรียนกลุ่มแกนนำ 32 คน วิเคราะห์ข้อมูลโดยการจำแนกชนิดข้อมูล การศึกษาเชิงปริมาณเก็บข้อมูลโดยใช้แบบสอบถาม จากกลุ่มตัวอย่างผู้บริหารสถานประกอบการ 400 คน นักเรียนระดับมัธยมศึกษาตอนปลาย 800 คน และนักศึกษาระดับปริญญาตรีชั้นปีที่ 1 จำนวน 702 คน รวม 1,902 คน วิเคราะห์ข้อมูลโดยใช้ ค่าเฉลี่ย ส่วนเบียงเบนมาตรฐาน และ one-way ANOVA ผลการศึกษาพบว่า ทักษะที่จำเป็นสำหรับเยาวชนในพื้นที่ภาคใต้เพื่อเข้าสู่ตลาดแรงงานประกอบด้วย 6 ทักษะที่สำคัญคือ การสื่อสาร การใช้เทคโนโลยีดิจิทัล ความคิดสร้างสรรค์ ความคิดเชิงวิจารณญาณ การทำงานร่วมกับผู้อื่น และความรับผิดชอบ นักเรียนมัธยมศึกษาตอนปลายประเมินตนเองมีค่าเฉลี่ยทักษะอยู่ในระดับปานกลาง 5 ทักษะ โดยความคิดสร้างสรรค์มีค่าเฉลี่ยต่ำที่สุด ขณะที่นักศึกษาระดับปริญญาตรีชั้นปีที่ 1 มีค่าเฉลี่ยระดับทักษะอยู่ในระดับสูงทุกทักษะโดยความคิดเชิงวิจารณญาณมีค่าเฉลี่ยต่ำที่สุด และพบว่าค่าเฉลี่ยทักษะของเยาวชนทั้งสองระดับต่ำกว่าความต้องการของสถานประกอบการอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ .001 4 ทักษะได้แก่ การสื่อสาร การใช้เทคโนโลยีดิจิทัล การคิดเชิงวิจารณญาณ และความคิดสร้างสรรค์ ทักษะทั้ง 4 นี้จึงเป็นทักษะสำคัญที่เยาวชนควรได้รับการพัฒนาตั้งแต่ระดับชั้นมัธยมศึกษา โดยบรรจุเป็นแกนหลักของการศึกษาเพื่อเตรียมความพร้อมสำหรับการทำงานในยุคศตวรรษที่ 21
