Main Article Content
Abstract
The purpose of this study is to analyze factors predicting the integration of learning management with research to develop the communities in the three southern border provinces. Samples were lecturers from three universities: Yala Rajabhat University, Prince of Songkhla University, Pattani Campus and Princess of Naradhiwas University. They were selected by a stratified random sampling of 308 people. Research instruments were interviews and questionnaire. The data was analyzed by frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, Pearson correlation coefficient and multiple correlations. The findings are as follows: Five factors are found : 1) participation (X5), 2) mission (X6) 3) skills for specific career (X1) 4) knowledge of the three southern border provinces (X4) and 5) budget relevant to the research support (X7). When these five factors were used in predicting the behaviors of the integration of learning management with research, the percentage was 56.4 and its significance was .01. Based on the predicted equation, it was found that: 1) predicted equation of raw data was y = -0.009 + 0.341 X5 + 0.155 X6 + 0.252 X1 + 0.147 X4 + 0.082 X7, and 2) the predicted equation of standard scores were Zy = 0.437 X5 + 0.163 X6 + 0.176 X1 + 0.154 X4 + 0.102 X7.
