Abstract

The objectives of this research were to study the leadership and the Factors affecting the leadership of students in bachelor of science program in agricultural and environmental education, faculty of education and development science,Kasetsart University. The population used in this research consisted of 269 students in bachelor of science program in agricultural and environmental education of 1-4 level in the first academic year 2015. The research instruments included the questionnaire. The data were analyzed with a statistical package to calculate percentage, percentage, mean, standard deviation, correlation coefficient, and stepwise multiple regression analysis. The results revealed that 1) students majoring in Agricultural and Environmental Education had high levels of students’ leaderships, 2) there were 5 variable related to the leaderships of students Program in Agriculturaland Environmental Education, Kasetsart University, i.e. emotional quotient, achievement motive, participation in activity, knowledge about the leaderships, and income per month, and 3) the variable affecting the leaderships of students majoringin Agricultural and Environmental Education, Kasetsart University included emotional quotient, achievement motive, and participation in activity. These factors arepredictors explaining 70.6 percent of variance at a .05 statistically significant level as the prediction equation in raw score Y= .840+.412 X7+.291 X6+.116 X5 and the
prediction equation in standard score Z=.463 ZX7+.352 ZX6+.132 ZX5.
