Abstract

The main objective of this article is to study about a people participation development approach in public services delivery of Khon Kaen city municipal, especially in promoting community organizations establishment and decentralizing power in public services deliveries to them. There are 9 communities selected. And 63 key informants are purposively selected. This study found that all given activities have been operated by established community organizations. From the beginning, community plan making, plan approving, presenting plan, correcting plan, implementing plan and monitoring and evaluating plan. The results is those activities can comparatively increase citizenship of community organizations. In order to apply this study effective, this study suggest that local administration organizationsshould establish a new department or assign the established department to be the main implementer for supporting participation of community organizations.And the local administration organization will have to make the coordinationworking system among inner organizations for supporting operations of community organizations when they have some problems.
