Participation Learning Process to develop Ram Thon Model of Nursing Student in Boromarajonani College of Nursing, Saraburi

Abstract
The study Participation Learning Process to develop Ram Thon Model of Nursing Students in Boromarajanani College of Nursing, Saraburi was design by using participatory action research (PAR). The purposes of this study to 1) study the the effects of the participatory learning process of nursing students the Ram Thon model 2) develop the Ram Thon model by nursingstudents at the Boromarajanani College of Nursing, Saraburi. The research process was divided into two steps including Pre-research phase : providing knowledge and skills for nursing students how to manage note taking and data recording from interviewing and focus group. Research phase : Assessment and evaluation of the Ram Thon situation - all parties (researchers and nursing students) met to community Tumbon Tontal Sao Hai, Saraburi Province. Establishing working collaboration and commitment all parties (researchers, local wisdom, leaders of the community, and senior Ram Thon dancers) planned activities together; Competence preparation – nursing students were given the knowledge and training. Participating and solving problems regarding implementation (nursing students learned from senior Ram Thon dancers in the thai yuan community) and Evaluation effects of the participatory learning process were assessed. The population consisted of 30 nursing students and 26 participants including local elders, seniors, a community leader in the Thai Yuan community Tumbon Tontal Sao Hai, Saraburi Province. Data were collected by qualitative methods. Content analysis was used as the data analysis method. The research results showed that nursing students learned traditional Ram Thon model from senior Ram Thon dancers. Then nursing students also developed former Ram Thon model to fashionable model with dancing style, music lyrics, and modern dressing style. Moreover after participation in the study, nursing students recognized the value of the art and culture of Ram Thon. Furthermore, those students learned to conserve and distribute Ram Thon other institutions.
