General Education Program Curriculum Development Correspondent with Yala Rajabhat University Context

Abstract
General education program curriculum is important for developing students to be an acceptional individual having broaded knowledge and vision, self-understanding, knowledge adjustable for suitable living in community. This research aims are to develop general education program curriculum suitable for the social and university change and to study the effective model and program administration to serve principles and goals of curriculum. Research and development method were used in the research with 20 working group. The samples are 141 lecturers of Rajabhat Yala University. The research revealed that 1) General education program courses were group by theme. 2) The central unit is responsible for curriculum administration. 3) Course descriptions were writing into 3 types. 4) General education courses were suitable for Yala Rajabhat University context 5 groups and 19 courses. It can be concluded that general education program curriculum development that is suitable for Yala Rajabhat University context should be group by theme-based and central unit is responsible for curriculum administration.
