Effects of a Flipped-Classroom Model With Research-Based Learning of the Fourth Year Students at Yala Rajabhat University

Abstract
The research was a Pre-experimental research by one group pretest - posttest design. The objective of this research was to investigate the effects of a Flipped-Classroom Model with Research-Based Learning. The samples were selected from 37 undergraduate students enrolled in Research Education Subject in the 1st semester, academic year 2015, Faculty of Education, Yala Rajabhat University. The data were collected by Cluster random sampling. The instruments used in this research were: the learning management plans by Flipped-Classroom Model with Research-Based Learning, the achievement test, the research skills test and students’ satisfaction questionnaire. The arithmetic means, standard deviation, t-test, and effect size were the parameters used for statistical analysis. The findings of the research were as follows: 1) The student’s achievement after learning by a Flipped-Classroom Model using Research-Based Learning were higher than before learning significance at the .001 level, Effect size at the 1.68. 2) The students’ research skills after learning by a Flipped-Classroom Model Using Research-Based Learning were past 50 percent criteria, statistically significant at 0.05 levels. and 3) The students’ satisfaction on learning by a Flipped-Classroom Model with Research-Based learning score at a higher level.
