The Life-style and Needs for Service of the Elderly in Community of Benjaburapa Suwannapummi Cluster

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to study the life-style and to study needs for Service of the elderly in community of Benjaburapa Suwannapummi Cluster. Samples for this research were 390 people. Mix method sampling was conducted. A questionnaire was used for collecting data. The data were analyzed using percentile, mean, standard deviation, t – test, One way ANOVA. The research findings were as follows: According to life-style of the elderly, it was found that most of them stayed at home. The person who take-care was son. The money saving was amount 50,000 bath. They bought goods form old convince store. The need service was health care. The way of life was simplify life. The person who being importance was son. The information of goods and service received from television.   The elderly had needs for service in high level. and the needs for service comparative result: the elderly with different sex, marriage, education and career showed no statistic difference significantly in needs of service at the 0.05 level. On the contrary: the elderly with different age, education and income showed statistic difference significantly in needs of service at the 0.05 level.
