The Development of Integrated Thai Language Learning Achievement Using a Literature-Based Approach with Learning Management Model Based on Positive Psychology Approach PERMA for Matthayomsuksa 3 Students

Abstract
Problems in learning management and students’ well being resulted in students' negative state and lack of motivation to learn which were important factors affecting student achievement. Therefore, the objectives of this research were 1) to compare the learning achievement of integrated Thai language learning using a literature-based approach with learning management model based on positive psychology approach PERMA for Matthayomsuksa 3 students 2) to compare of the learning achievement after an integrated Thai language learning using a literature-based approach with learning management model based on positive psychology approach PERMA comparing with the criteria of 80 percentage 3) to study the satisfaction towards learning management. The sample consisted of 37 students of Matthayomsuksa 3/1 from the 2nd semester in the academic year 2020 at Thungsaliamchanupatham School, Sukhothai Province. The research instruments were lesson plans, learning achievement tests, and satisfaction questionnaires. The descriptive statistics for data analysis were mean, standard deviation, and t-test. The results showed that the student had a statistically significantly higher learning achievement than before at the 0.05 level and learning achievement was higher than the criteria of 80 percent at the significant level of 0.05. The students’ satisfaction toward learning management was at the highest level. The results explained that linking the concept of positive psychology with learning management in Thai language by applying the content of literature as the center of learning was the integration of Thai language knowledge and positive psychology that can develop students both intellectually and mentally. It enhanced the students' well being and happiness in learning, which resulted in higher learning efficiency.
