The Development of Model of Supervision to Enhance Teacher’s Learning Management for Students with Learning Disabilities

Abstract

The promotion of learning management of student with learning disabilities was very necessary.  Thus the model of supervision to enhance teacher’s learning management for student with learning disabilities was created through research and development activities. The objective was to develop and evaluate the model of supervision to enhance teacher’s learning management for students with learning disabilities. The sampling groups were 3 master teachers and 6 general teachers who taught students with learning disabilities in 2018 to 2020 academic year. Data were analyzed to find out the mean, percentage, standard deviation and dependent t-test. The results indicated that the model of supervision TPIE model to enhance teacher’ s learning management for students with learning disabilities was divided into 4 steps: training, planning, implementing and evaluating. The result of the model was appropriately at the highest level ( gif.latex?\bar{x} = 4.6 S.D.= 0.51). The evaluation of model of supervision to enhance teacher’ s learning management for students with learning disabilities found out teacher’s knowledge and skill in learning management, teacher’s knowledge and skill in learning management supervision and teachers’ perception of learning management for students with learning disabilities, after using TPIE model were significantly higher than before at .05 level. Therefore, the model of supervision was effective to develop teachers, who taught student with learning disabilities, in learning management and supervision.
