The Development of Multimedia for Learning on Mae Bot I-san to Creative Local Dance

Abstract

Creation of local dance is imperative to use media that allow learners to review and examine the dance masters at any time. The purposes of this study were 1) to collect and analyze the process of the Mae Bot I-san (I-san master dance), 2) to develop multimedia media for learning on the topic of Mae Bot I-san, and 3) to study the effect of using multimedia media for learning on the topic of Mae Bot I-san for the creation of local dance. The sample group of this research was 21 students of the Dramatic Arts Department, Loei Rajabhat University; it is using purposive sampling, who registered for the course “the creation of dance choreography”. Use study methods, analyze, synthesize, document, research-related. Use the quality assessment form, the learning achievement test, the satisfaction test, and the creativity quality assessment form. Statistic uses percentage, arithmetic mean, standard deviation and t-test. The results of the study were as follows: 1) 48 Mae Bot I-san postures, 35 of them were used to create local dance, 13 of which were not used, the dance posture that is used has the characteristics Interpretation and the opportunities used are different. 2) The efficiency of the process on the efficiency of the results was 81.73/81.08, the effectiveness index was 0.67, achieved the high ratings. 3) Subsequent to the treatment, post-test scores were significantly higher than the pre-test scores (p< 0.01), the overall satisfaction of the learners was at a high-level ( gif.latex?\bar{X}= 4.44), and the creative works created by the students were at a high-level (gif.latex?\bar{X}= 4.36). This research found that multimedia for learning on Mae Bot I-san increased the efficiency of instructional, and beneficial to the creators of local dance. Therefore, it should be used in other related courses.
