Perception and Participation of Personnel and Students at Yala Rajabhat University towards Environmental Management to become a Green University

Abstract
Environmental management policies are being implemented to create a green university. To focus on the policy of driving the university to become a green university, it is critical to create understanding, awareness, and rely on cooperation from personnel in the organization. The goal of this study was to look into the perceptions, participation, and relationship between Yala Rajabhat University personnel students and environmental management strategies for becoming a green university. The research instrument was a questionnaire, and the sample size was 621 people, divided into 241 academic personnel and 380 Yala Rajabhat University students using stratified random sampling. The results of the study were classified according to objectives as follows: 1) The perception of Yala Rajabhat University's development strategy discovered that academic and support personnel students' overall level of perception was at a high-level ( = 3.85), while the students' level of overall perception was at a moderate level (
= 2.93). 2) Involvement in environmental management according to the ranking criteria (UI Green Metric), 6 issues, in the overall picture of academic personnel, support lines were at a frequent level (
= 3.62), while students were at a quite frequent level (
= 3.23). Environmental management strategy towards a green university of academic personnel. The support line is related to participation in environmental management for a green university. The correlation coefficient was .544 at the significance level of .001. The correlation coefficient was .132 at the significance level of 0.10. When personnel are aware of and participate in environmental management strategies for a green university, this causes personnel to be more alert about participating in environmental management towards a green university than students.
