Abstract

This academic article aims to explain the concept, the principle of the generalizability theory. And explain the application of This academic article aims to explain the concept, the principle of the generalizability theory in educational research. The main content is presented in 3 parts ; Theoretical concepts, Analysis of coefficients and the application of the generalizability theory with educational research. The generalizability theory is a theory used to analyze the reliability of measurement results in situations of measurement of various characteristics that are the target of the instrument's use. It is either a reliable assessment method or the validity of the instrument and the measurement design strategy to ensure that the results of the measurement are reliable. or has a high precision to the desired level to use the results as information for effective decision making
