Abstract

Language strategies in television advertisement are one of significant tools applied for conveying advertisement contents to attract viewers. The language strategies in television advertisement widely used in television advertisement consist of eleven techniques: factual message, comparison, slice of life, problems and solutions, demonstration, humor, fantasy, rewards appeal, motto, and strength highlight. The advertisement agencies apply various strategies for application in advertisement production including social reflection advertisement with image building or campaign people to behave morally and advertisement for products and services sale.
