School Management towards World-Class Standard Schools of Schools in the Takfa-Takhli United Campus under the Secondary Educational Service Area Office Nakhonsawan

Abstract

This study aimed to: 1) examine school administration, 2) investigate problems and recommendations, and 3) explore guidelines for developing school administration toward World-Class Standard Schools within the Tak Fa–Takhli Consortium under the Secondary Educational Service Area Office Nakhon Sawan. The sample consisted of 184 administrators and teachers, with five key informants selected through purposive sampling for interviews. The research instruments included a questionnaire with a reliability coefficient of 0.95 and a semi-structured interview form. Data were analyzed using mean, standard deviation, and content analysis.

The research findings revealed that:

1. Overall, school administration, problems and recommendations, and guidelines for developing school administration toward international standard schools in educational institutions under the Tak Fa–Takhli Educational Consortium were at a high level in all aspects. These aspects, in descending order, were operations, measurement, analysis, knowledge management, workforce, leadership, results, strategy, and student and stakeholder focus.


2. The development guidelines include strengthening the organization through two-way communication and participatory management, together with flexible strategic plans driven by empirical data. Emphasis should be placed on developing learners’ competencies toward global citizenship, while fostering a data-driven culture and a learning society. Personnel management should be based on competency principles and aimed at enhancing staff morale. In addition, work processes should be improved through digital technology, decentralization, and evaluation systems benchmarked against international standards.
