Abstract

The study aimed to 1) identify the components of instructional leadership of school administrators, and 2) evaluate the appropriateness of the components of instructional leadership of school administrators. A qualitative research methodology was employed, consisting of two phases. Phase 1 involved a review and synthesis of concepts, theories, and related research from 10 sources. Phase 2 focused on evaluating the appropriateness of the instructional leadership components, Data were collected from five experts using a five-level rating scale questionnaire, and analyzed for percentage, mean, and standard deviation. mean and standard deviation.


The research results revealed that:


1)Instructional Leadership Of School Administrators comprised five components: 1) setting the vision, mission, and learning goals, 2) curriculum and instructional management, 3) promoting a learning-conducive atmosphere, 4) teacher and personnel development, and 5) supervision, monitoring, and evaluation of educational management.


2) The evaluation of the appropriateness of the components of instructional leadership of school administrators showed that all components were at the highest level of appropriateness. The component with the highest mean was the setting the vision, mission, and learning goals, followed by curriculum and instructional management, teacher and personnel development, supervision, monitoring and evaluation of educational management, and the promoting a learning-conducive atmosphere.
