Main Article Content
Abstract
The objectives of this research were to 1) study the current state and public relations patterns via social media, 2) compare opinions toward public relations patterns via social media classified by study plan, and 3) develop a digital marketing communication strategy model for the Faculty of Mass Communication Technology. This is a Research and Development (R&D) study. The samples were divided into two parts: 7 key informants for in-depth interviews, and a sample group of 400 high school and vocational certificate students from 12 institutions in the central region. The sample size was determined according to the Krejcie and Morgan table, and stratified random sampling was applied. The research instruments consisted of interview forms and questionnaires, with a questionnaire reliability coefficient of .96. Statistics used for data analysis included frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, t-test, and content analysis.
The research results showed that:
1)Current state and public relations patterns: The Faculty utilizes a "Showcase Strategy" through mixed platforms, emphasizing the presentation of professional skills via high-quality video media.
2)Comparison of opinions classified by study plan: Vocational certificate students placed a significantly higher level of importance on the 'Mastery Content' public relations pattern and the visual readiness of equipment than general high school students at the .05 level of significance, especially when considering presentations through the media currently used by the Faculty, which includes short video clips and Facebook page media.
3)Strategy model development: The developed "MCT-NEXT Model" consists of mastery content creation, community connection, and technology integration to create an experience that leads to confidence and further enrollment decisions.
